1. Who is responsible

2. Data we process

• Player profile: chosen username (Latin letters, numbers and permitted characters), unique account code, in-game coins, skins and settings, plus profile creation and update times.
• Crunch Run: a technical device/session identifier, server-issued run ticket and seed, score, duration, event count, verification result and submission time. The server stores a hash of the device secret token.
• On-device data: a local profile copy for play and syncing, settings, game API credentials, personal best and a queue of results awaiting submission.
• Request diagnostics: IP address, time, request path, user agent, response status and diagnostic information may be recorded by the game server and hosting provider.

You do not need an email address, password or social sign-in to create a game profile. Do not use your real name, address, phone number or other personal details as your username.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use data to create and find profiles, save coins, settings and skins, link a device to an account, apply the daily free-run limit, spend in-game coins and verify submitted Crunch Run results. Technical logs help diagnose errors, limit abuse and protect the API.

Our intended legal basis for data needed to provide a profile and the game features you request is performance of the game service agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technical logs and anti-abuse measures rely on the operator's legitimate interest in keeping the game and API secure and reliable (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If required profile data is not provided, the related server feature or profile cannot be used.

Crunch Run requires an internet connection for server verification. Some core game features and local settings may remain available offline; unsynced data stays on the device until it is sent or app data is cleared.

4. Hosting and service providers

The My Crunchy game API and database are hosted on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Hetzner may process connection data and server logs as part of operating and protecting that infrastructure. Hetzner's postal address is Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany; this is the provider's company address, not the physical address of the individual server or data centre. We do not sell player data or share it with advertising networks. The current game version does not include third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. When you install the Android app, Google Play processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Storage and deletion

A profile remains stored while active or until the player deletes it in the game settings. Deletion removes the profile from the active player database and frees its username for reuse. Separate technical run records and a pseudonymous device record may remain in the database, without a link to the active profile, to verify results and protect the service. Automatic deletion periods are not configured for these records in the current version.

Some copies may remain temporarily in backups or hosting logs; exact periods depend on infrastructure settings. To ask about deletion of related data, contact support@semy-games.com.

6. Your rights

You can view and update some profile data in the app and delete the active account in its settings. For access, correction, restriction or other personal-data requests, contact the operator. Where GDPR provides for it, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You may lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, including one in your habitual-residence country. For an operator based in Bavaria, the relevant contact is BayLDA; its website provides an online complaint form.

The informational website does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers or set optional marketing cookies. Technical data needed to serve pages and operate the API is processed when your browser makes a request.

7. Policy changes

If the data or game features change — for example, if advertising, analytics, purchases or social sign-in are added — we will update this page before or alongside those features. The date above shows the latest revision.
